Anstey's Cove
A little hidden gem is situated midway between Wellswood and Babbacombe in Torquay and is called Anstey's Cove! It is a really pretty cove with a shingle beach and stunning views, beautifully clear water and is surrounded by woodland which makes it very secluded and sheltered. This small beach has earned a Quality Coast Award, so is safe for bathing. It is also ideal for boating, canoeing and kayaking. There are rocks to climb and plenty of pools to keep the children occupied! The small beach cafe has a good reputation and serves good quality food at reasonable prices, there are also public toilets. The a car park is located at the top of the cove. It's a bit of a of a steep walk down, but well worth the effort as you definitely won't be disappointed Kayaks can be hire down in the cove.
