Torre Abbey Sands is an a good long, gently shelving sandy beach to the Paignton side of Torquay harbour. There are plenty of facilities locally, with the new Abbey sands development hosting several bars and restaurants. There is also Torre Abbey Meadows across the road, with lots of green space plus golf and various other activities. The southern part of this beach (nearest to Paignton) is known as Corbyn Head beach You can easily reach this beach. A short walk from the harbour or the Theatre and you will find a slipway and steps at various points along the Torre Abbey sea front. There is also  a bridge over the road leading to the new hospitality development. There are toilets nearby to the harbour end of the beach.
