The Guests at Corbyn Lodge have access to the facilities at the Grand hotel a short stroll away. This newly refurbished 4* hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, Leisure Club/Spa and the Gainsborough Restaurant.

For a superb culinary treat, you may like to stroll down to the Corbyn Hotel and eat at the Orchid Resturant, only a hundred yards away. The Orchid received 2 AA Rosettes in its first year of trading and in January 2006 received an outstanding 3 AA Rosette rating, making it one of only 6 other Restaurants in Devon with a 3 AA Rosette rating.

HESKETH CRESECENT APARTMENTS

Relax and unwind in one of our luxury properties (The Balcony, Beach Mews, Hesketh Dell) in and around Hesketh Crescent, an impressive & inspiring example of Grade II Regency architecture. It was commissioned by Sir Lawrence Palk and designed by brothers William & John Harvey. The Crescent was named after Sir Lawrence's wife, Maria Hesketh, and was originally built as fifteen private houses. The Crescent is set in the peaceful, leafy surroundings of Meadfoot, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of Torquay. Most of our apartments at Hesketh Crescent, enjoy panoramic sea views across the bay and beyond. The Crescent has an amazing beachfront setting, which is quite literally a stones throw from the front door and is the perfect retreat. The properties are beautifully furnished and comprehensively equipped with a relaxed 'home from home' feel. The Balcony and townhouse, which sleep between 2 - 6 people, are designed and decorated to the very highest standard - interior design being a strong element of our philosophy, as is comfort, location and natural ambience.

There are several restaurants situated in the Crescent where you can enjoy a meal. There is Langtry's, a more formal 'a la carte' restaurant, The Brasserie, a mediterranean style cafe bar and The Terrace, a wonderful outdoor space where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the bay and is open between spring to early autumn.
