Torbay Royal Regatta 2017

The Torbay Royal Regatta runs from Saturday 19th to Tuesday 22nd August followed by the Torbay Royal Regatta Anniversary Challenge Cup Pursuit races on Wednesday 23rd.

It promises to be another great occasion with a Laser Traveller event already signed up as part of the Dinghy fleet

Help us to build on the success of the last two years by making a note in your diary now and spreading the word amongst your friends in other clubs and classes.

Funfair August 23rd – 28th:
Arrival of Rowlands Funfair to Torre Abbey Meadows

Pub and Club Rowing August 24th:
Pub and Club Rowing Regatta Races at 3.00pm., from the Harbourside.Come and see the crews in action.

Sailing August 20th – 23rd:
Racing will take place over four days for all yachts, sports boats, dinghy and junior classes between Saturday 20th to Tuesday 23rd August.

August 21st:
Torbay Regatta 10k 6.00pm.

August 22nd:
Fireworks 9.30pm at Corbyn Head.

August 23rd:
Water Ski Display 7.00pm.
Best vantage points: Princess Pier and seafront.

August 24th:
Sailing Race 10.30am.
Royal Regatta Anniversary Challenge Cup Pursuit Race for all classes on Wednesday 26th August.

Tour Of Britain ~ Haytor

The 2017 Tour of Britain will take place from 3-10 September. The route for next year’s race will be announced early in 2017, please check back then for full details of where you’ll be able to see the world’s best cyclists racing through Britain.

Thank you for supporting the Tour of Britain Devon Stage 2016. It was another successful year and, despite the weather, you came out in your thousands.

If you, like us, enjoy cycling all year round then don’t put your bike away. Devon has a superb network of cycle routes that are ready for you to explore what ever the time of year.
